Carolina Rebellion, a North Carolina rock festival whose first listed piece of general information is “This Festival is a Rain or Shine Event“, cancelled the final day of the festival yesterday due to rain.

Streetlight Manifesto Denied Physical Copies of New Album By Label

Your favorite ska-punks just can’t catch a break. Streetlight Manifesto just announced on their Facebook page that their label, Victory Records, is witholding their new record, The Hands that Thieve, and refusing to send physical copies to the band or their fans. Streetlight Manifesto assures that “we will be able to fulfill all orders soon” and that fans shouldn’t buy the record from Victory’s website, but rather, from their RISC store. In a nutshell, Victory is keeping records in their possession that people have already paid for. Pretty lame.

Sad news coming out of California this afternoon as UTG has recently learned that Sound And Fury Festival 2013 has been cancelled.

Announced via open letter and press release, the cancellation of Sound And Fury 2013 is sure to come as a shock to many, including those who already purchased tickets to this year’s event. DAMMIT: Van Halen Cancel Every Tour Date After June 26

Some things really are too good to be true.

After months of hype and fantastic tickets sales, Van Halen have announced the cancellation of every tour date following their June 26 appearance in New Orleans. According to Pollstar, announcements began to break shortly after noon today, with multiple sources reporting “no explanation offered” in regards to the decision.

Markets affected by these cancellations include: Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, El Paso, Baltimore, E. Rutherford, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Memphis, Spokane, Reno, Fresno, Wichita and Milwaukee.

Blink-182 Have Cancelled All North American Dates

Blink-182 stated yesterday that they had to cancel their appearance at this year’s Bamboozle Festival and now it is apparent all of the touring dates in North America are cancelled as well.

The reason being that Travis Barker requires an urgent tonsillectomy and the recovery time will cut into touring. All of the tour dates for Blink will be refunded. Check out the official message by simply looking below.

2012 Sonisphere Festival Has Been Cancelled

It has been revealed that the 2012 Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth has been cancelled. The festival featured headlining acts Kiss, Faith No More and Queen featuring Adam Lambert. Apparently, the task of putting on this year’s event was too much to handle and the group offered up their official statement below.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Postpone Tour, Reveal New Dates

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced they are postponing their upcoming tour due to a crushed bone in the foot of vocalist Anthony Keidis.

The band issued a statement this morning, writing “Anthony recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.”

Synthcore newcomers The Browning have been forced to drop off their current tour with Wretched following van issues.

The group broke the news today, via Facebook, with a post that reads:

Netflix Abandons Break Up Plans, DVD-By-Mail & Streaming To Remain Under One Roof

Netflix users everywhere, rejoice! The company has heard your pleas for rational thinking and decided to abandon their recently announced plans to separate dvd-by-mail services and online streaming.

In an interview with the New York Times, a spokesperson for Netflix commented ““We underestimated the appeal of the single web site and a single service,” before quickly adding “We greatly underestimated it.”
