Yasiin Bey Cancels U.S. Tour Due to Reentry Denial

The rapper Yasiin Bey, formally known as Mos Def, has been forced to cancel his U.S. tour, according to Together Boston. It’s reported that he has been denied the ability to re-enter the United States, which was due to certain immigration/legal issues. Further details have not yet surfaced.

This all takes place after the rapper moved to South Africa in 2013.

Odd Future crooner Frank Ocean has been forced to pull the plug on his first Australian tour following a single performance in the city of Melbourne.

According to promoters at LiveNation Australia, Frank Ocean’s team decided to cancel his remaining tour dates down under following a medical emergency that arose during Frank’s Melbourne appearance. In a tweet sent out just before 2AM this morning, the promoter wrote, “Regrettably we can confirm that Frank Ocean’s remaining Australian shows have been cancelled. Matt Pryor (Get Up Kids) Cancels US Living Room Shows, Offers Statement

Get Up Kids’ frontman Matt Pryor has cancelled his upcoming US living room shows just days before his a string of New England dates were set to begin.

In a statement released to fans, Pryor wrote:

“Hey New Englanders! Due to circumstances beyond my control the living room shows this weekend in Braintree, Boston and Providence have been cancelled. I’m really sorry about this and hopefully we can reschedule. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and rest assured you’ll be getting a full refund.”

Daddy Yankee Cancels Tour, Makes Promoter’s Eyes Bleed

Rapper Daddy Yankee is in hot water this morning following a lawsuit who claims stress from cancelled Argentinian tour caused him to bleed from his eyes.

TMZ is reporting that Yankee, after accepting an $820,000 advance from a concert promoter in Argentina and agreeing to extend his stay to a 10-date tour for another $480,000, refused to make good on the deal only days away from the first show because the promoter would not send him the final $480,000 in advance. The promoter even went as far as to guarantee it upon Yankee’s arrival in Argentina, but Yankee refused.

UK songstress Adele has announced she has been forced to cancel her upcoming tour dates after suffering from a vocal cord hemorrhage.

According to a blog from Adele to fans, which you can read in full after the jump, she has actually suffered multiple vocal injuries, but a busy schedule has prevented her from ever fully healing. Now it seems, she has almost no choice.

Blink-182 reschedule European tour

Blink-182 have held true to their promise to finish their new album before touring again by rescheduling their entire European tour. A message from the band regarding the situation can be found below. While this may be an inconvenience to European fans, I think this should be seen as cause for celebration.
