REVIEW: Bring Me The Horizon – ‘Sempiternal’

ARTIST: Bring Me The Horizon
ALBUM: Sempiternal
LABEL: Epitaph Records
GENRE: Metalcore

You want your favorite bands to succeed. That’s the dream right? Find something your passionate about and make a career out of it. Change lives, touch people’s hearts and make a difference. Sometimes those same people will turn on a band once they become too successful though. Over the years the band has changed and developed their sound and become mature musicians but the fans don’t necessarily want that, they want the same guys they met in an alley at a $5 show years ago when no one …

MUSIC VIDEO: Bring Me The Horizon – “Sleepwalking”

After facing the hard truth of an album leak two months in advance, Bring Me The Horizon are refusing to be defeated with the release of their new single and music video, “Sleepwalking.”

Continuing the promotional push for Sempiternal, which has been moved up to an April 2 release, Bring Me The Horizon have again set the bar for music videos with “Sleepwalking.” Featuring performance footage that showcases the band as a group of matured musicians more confident in their presence than ever before, as well as a storyline that is second-to-none, this clip assures us fans of BMTH …

Earlier this week Bring Me The Horizon tweeted that they had some “exciting” news regarding Sempiternal. Well, here it is! They have officially announced that the album will be released April 1, almost a whole month earlier than the original release date. But wait, there’s more! The band also put the full album up to stream for a very limited amount of time. You can access that stream here. I highly recommend that you check out this album if you haven’t yet.

Pre-orders are currently available for the deluxe edition of the album, US customers can pick up …

Bring Me The Horizon Tease “Exciting” News For Next Week

Just in case you were unaware, Bring Me The Horizon‘s highly anticipated upcoming album Sempiternal leaked yesterday. I’m sure it’s not a secret that could have been kept for very long, and BMTH were sure to find out. They tweeted today some news that might lead some of us to believe (me, at the very least) that they could be officially releasing the album a little early. Take a look below the jump to see what the band had to say. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that update they’re teasing us with!

Yesterday, at the Sydney-based Soundwave Festival a young concertgoer was permanently disfigured by a flare that was lit off in the pit during Bring Me The Horizon’s set. Bring Me The Horizon Premiere “Anti-Vist”

After hours of fan promotion, Bring Me The Horizon have released their new single “Anti-Vist.” The song is the second to surface off their forthcoming album, Sempiternal,” which drops on April 30 via Epitaph Records.

Bringing back the attitude that won over so many on Suicide Season, “Anti-Vist” is a musical middle finger to anything and everything that stands in Bring Me The Horizon’s way. It’s heavy, relentless, and filled with more angst than can be contained in Oli Sykes’ small frame. This is larger-than-life music, and it makes us yearn for more. You can stream “Anti-Vist” …

Bring Me The Horizon To Release “Anti-Vist”; Launching Promotional Campaign

Bring Me The Horizon aren’t the type of band to make any announcement low key.

The band put up a tweet earlier today that spoke of an upcoming track off of Sempiternal titled “Anti-Vist”. More than simply telling fans to “stay tuned”, the Sheffield, UK group invited fans to actually participate through posting tweets with an #antivist hashtag. The band later made another tweet that follows up by stating that fans will be filled in on further details tomorrow (Tuesday).

Follow the jump for the tweets by the band regarding the new single.

Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes Announces Kickstarter For Upcoming Graphic Novel

It appears that Mr. Oliver Sykes has been up to more than solely Bring Me The Horizon‘s latest and most-anticipated album, Sempiternal. A link had been put up on the band’s Facebook earlier today to a Kickstarter page titled Raised By Wolves Issue No. 1. Collaborating with Sykes will be Ben Ashton-Bell. The fundraiser, which is aiming towards a goal of 15,000 British pounds (roughly equivalent to 23,000 US dollars) boasts rewards like autographed posters, copies of the graphic novel, and even the opportunity to collaborate with Sykes and Ashton-Bell to create a character that will be added …

MUSIC VIDEO: Bring Me The Horizon – “Shadow Moses”

BMTH are back, and they’re louder and more furious than ever. The Sheffield five-piece has released this cryptic music video to hype their latest release, Sempiternal.

Sempiternal drops on April 30 through Epitaph Records, and I for one couldn’t be more excited to see how it will turn out to sound seeing as how the album is said to have strong influences of outside genres such as post-rock and was recorded this past year with iconic metal producer Terry Date who has worked with the likes of Slipknot, Pantera, Deftones, and even Limp Bizkit.
