Remember that adorable girl from Little Miss Sunshine? She’s matured into a young woman and recently had her heart broken by some guy in a band (rumored to be Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds Of Summer). Her response? Write a song, of course.

The video is basically Breslin performing in and …

Ovlov

Ovlov Have Officially Broken Up

Connecticut-based band Ovlov just announced on their Facebook page that they are breaking up. Really.

On the post, they wrote that “like the last season of Degrassi” they too are putting an end to their limited run. They will still be playing shows on July 11 and August 17-20, although almost all of them are sold out since the band has been riding high since the success of their 2013 LP am. We’ll be busy listening to that and their recent split with Little Big League on repeat as we cry for the remainder of this week (if not month).…

REST IN PEACE: The Gay Blades

This is the most depressing post I have written in 2013. Not only does it bum me out, but it completely caught me and the rest of the staff off guard.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we must report New York rock outfit The Gay Blades have officially called it quits.

Taking to their social networks after months of silence, the members of The Gay Blades released a message to fans this evening announcing their plans to go their separate ways:

“Been quiet for a long time, but in order to truly focus on new things,

Jonas Brothers Confirm Breakup, Claim It Was A Unanimous Decision

So long, Jonas Brothers.

After weeks of rumors and a cancelled tour due to what some called a ‘deep rift’ in the group, the Jonas Brothers have announced they are officially ending their career as a band. They’ll remain family of course, so this isn’t your typical breakup, but the brothers’ days of playing music together have come to an end.

Speaking exclusively to People Magazine, the JoBros opened up for the first time since rumors of their demise began nearly a month ago. Their comments, for the most part, were relatively short:

“It’s over for now,” Kevin Jonas

Keane Frontman Denies Break Up Rumors, Says Band Will Be Taking ‘A Bit Of Time Out’ From Being Together

What we have here is a classic case of publication versus the artist. One thinks a quote meant the end of one of the UK’s most notable pop outfits in recent memory, while the other couldn’t disagree more. Which is right? Let’s find out.

On Sunday (October 20), The Sun reported that Keane would soon be breaking up after 16 years so singer Tom Chaplin could make a solo album and main songwriter Tim Rice-Oxley could focus on penning hits for other artists. We didn’t run the story because at the time The Sun had no direct quotes or confirmation …
