BREAKING: Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe STILL In Prague Prison, Statement Delayed

Contrary to earlier reports, Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe remains in a Prague prison today and will be staying there for at least the next few days in connection with the death of a 19-year-old fan more than two years ago.

Blythe was expected to be released today after posting $250,000 bail, but the court saw otherwise. Judge Petr Fassati of Prague 8 district court stated:

Following rumors of Craig Owens’ potential return, Chiodos have officially announced the departure of Brandon Bolmer and Tanner Wayne.

The Associated Press is reporting Publicist Kristen Foster says singer Whitney Houston has died at age 48.

Details are scarce at this moment, but needless to say, the loss will be felt throughout the music community.

Houston won two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards during her record-breaking career. She had one child, Bobbi Kristina, with husband Bobby Brown. Houston and Brown were married from 1992-2007.

Houston made headlines earlier today when news broke she was approached to be a panelist on The X Factor.

BREAKING NEWS: Rest In Peace Etta James (1938-2012)

CNN is reporting that legendary singer Etta James has died at the age of 73.

James, who rose to fame 1950s, will always be remembered for such hits as “At Last” and “I’d Rather Go Blind.” She suffered from leukemia, dementia, and hepatitis C.

UTG could not be more heartbroken to learn of her passing and send our condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.

Autopsy Report of GWAR Guitarist Cory Smoot Released

A month ago, Under the Gun Review brought you the news of the untimely death of Cory Smoot, guitarist of costume clad rock band, GWAR. Today, the results of his autopsy have become public by word of the coroner and we have the details.

North Dakota coroner William Masselo, MD released the following statement regarding his death:

“We have finalized the autopsy report and death certificate. I have determined that Cory died from a coronary artery thrombosis brought about by his pre-existing coronary artery disease.”
