Exposing Metal Bands (Satanic Illuminati) Part 3

The third (and final?) installment of this ridiculous video series from April and Wayne Show is here. We’ve provided you with a look at their two previous segments where they’ve rambled on with illiteracy about metal artists selling their souls to the devil and joining his metal army and blah blah blah.

Now, April and Wayne Show are at it again, delving deeper into the lyrical content from bands like All Shall Perish and Cannibal Corpse as well as criticizing fans’ tattoos and some of the bands’ music videos. In their first video, April and Wayne state that, “These demons …

Born Of Osiris Cover “Science” by System Of A Down

We’ve seen countless lyric videos in the past year or so but this may be the first for a cover by a band. Born Of Osiris have released their take of System Of A Down’s “Science” from their iconic 2001 release, Toxicity. The band have taken a SOAD classic and added that beloved BOO twist, and the outcome is savory.

Born of Osiris’ vocalist Ronnie Canizaro posted the video to his Facebook stating, “Thought it would be fun to cover this song! enjoy!!”

We’re definitely enjoying it and we hope that you will as well. We’ve got the video …

EXCLUSIVE: A Conversation With Tosin Abasi of T.R.A.M.

Tosin Abasi plays guitar, and plays it really, really well. What has he played guitar in, you ask? Well, his first moderately successful project was a little old band called Reflux. Most people probably know him best for his Animals As Leaders work. Now he’s got another project for us music connoisseurs (and fanboys) to sink our teeth into called T.R.A.M. featuring himself, Javier Reyes (also of Animals As Leaders), Adrian Terrazas (of The Mars Volta), and Eric Moore (of Suicidal Tendencies). This new project, aptly named as an acronym of the members’ last names, is a bit of a …

Guitarist Jason Richardson, formerly of Born Of Osiris, has revealed the reasoning behind his departure from the band. He is currently playing in Chelsea Grin and is definitely happier in that environment.

Please read Jason’s statement below and let us know how you feel about these events.

UTG PHOTOS: BORN OF OSIRIS (11/20/11)

A day after my mini-road trip to Pittsburgh, I was back in Cleveland and heading to a show that was on the other end of the music spectrum from the show I shot in Pittsburgh the previous day.  So I found myself less than twenty-four hours later, on Sunday, November 20, back at Peabody’s in Cleveland for some heavy hitters for The Discovery Tour, including Fallen Captive, Ruled By Reason, Veil of Maya, and Born of Osiris.  This was going to be one of the heaviest, hardcore shows I’ve attended in awhile, and I was psyched to hear some new …
