Meshuggah Fans Petition For Leonardo DiCaprio To Join Band At Bonnaroo

The end of Titanic never really sat well with me. Rose was a headboard hog, and call me cold, but “true love” aside, Jack definitely drew the short straw in that relationship. Personally, I would’ve much rather seen the male protagonist tread the frigid Atlantic waters to safety, and then, in a fit of bitter rage, start a kick-ass Djent Metal band.

Though I could say this about a lot of my favorite movies, I never thought I would have my dream realized. That is, until I saw the recent viral video pairing Meshuggah and the 2013 box office hit, …

Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White, and More Confirmed For Bonnaroo 2014

2014 is the year the music festival market hits its peak saturation point. Every lineup announcement up to this point has been bigger and wilder than the one before, but I think the team behind Bonnaroo may have just won the announcement game for good.

Right now, I want you to take a moment and think of any major star from the last few decades you would like to see live alongside 100,000 screaming, somewhat filthy music freaks. Go on, I’ll wait.

Did you think of Kanye West? He’s there.

Elton John? Got him too.

Lionel Richie? A little obscure, …

Earl Sweatshirt Cancels Bonnaroo Set

Odd Future affiliate Earl Sweatshirt has let fans know via Twitter he will not be performing at Bonnaroo due to coming down with pneumonia. With a plethora of understandably disappointed festival goers who were looking forward to seeing his set at the festival, the rapper has also made quite a few personal apologies before having this to say to those unimpressed with his reasoning for backing out:

“to everyone who think im being overdramatic, go get pneumonia and then try singing ‘whoa’ all the way through with no hypeman. im just sayin.”

Earl’s previously scheduled 4-5 PM time slot on …

WATCH: Bonnaroo Is Announcing Their Lineup Live This Year Via A Weird Al Hosted “Megathon” RIGHT NOW

File this one under, “adventures in creative marketing”.

The good people at Bonnaroo are about to reveal the lineup to the 2013 installment of the Manchester, Tennessee based festival. But this year, they’re doing it live. And with Weird Al Yankovic! Yes, Weird Al will be hosting, along with a slew of other musicians and comedians, the Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon aka B.L.A.M. or #BLAM if you’re on Twitter. So it’s like a telethon, but cool. Also, you won’t be pledging your money to public broadcasting, but instead forking it over to Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment.

But it’s not …

Bonnaroo Leaves 2013 Line-Up Clue #1 Online

Bonnaroo is one of the nation’s top festivals and have released the very first clue about their 2013 line-up. The clue from Bonnaroo reads, “Rising son of man, the future was less certain, Human contact is gone.”

This enormous festival will take place in Manchester, TN from June 13 through the 16. Pre-sale tickets have already been announced and can be viewed on the official event page.…

HOLY SH!T: Alice Cooper Covers Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”

Yes, you read that headline right. Alice Cooper recently covered Lady Gaga’s hit song “Born This Way” live at Bonnaroo this weekend, and it’s absolutely rediculous. If you really think about it, this song makes sense for him to cover (if he really had to cover a pop song) since the man has always been known for his off the wall and outlandish personality. To be completely honest with you, this cover didn’t actually piss me off. A lot of the times covers of pop songs by different genre’s are really annoying, but this one was a lot of fun …
