Jacob Tender Last week, Bonaventure announced they’d be putting out a cover of the Christmas classic “Silent Night” this Tuesday. Today, however, they released a music video for said cover.
With subtitled narration accompanying a somber visual story, this video is extraordinarily moving. It won’t exactly get you the Christmas spirit, but it might get you thinking.
I’m going to call my dad. The video can be seen below.
November 19th, 2012 Anthony Galasso Nashville alt/acoustic duo, Bonaventure announced on their Facebook page yesterday that they will be releasing their version of the popular holiday classic, “Silent Night” on Tuesday, November 27 via iTunes.
“Join us in counting down the days as we prepare for a happy and music-filled winter season. Look for the album art this week, and don’t forget to help spread the word!” the band writes.
Until the release of “Silent Night”, the band recently released a live video of them performing their new song “Break Your Heart”, which can be seen here.
November 13th, 2012 Anthony Galasso After encouraging their fans to help spread the news about Bonaventure on Facebook, affording them even more fans, the Nashville alt-rock duo finally released a live video of them performing their new song “Break Your Heart” featuring Jason Reeves.
The video shows Andy Albert, Dan Smyers and Jason Reeves sitting around a candlelit coffee table pouring their hearts out. The song, full of rich harmonies and soaring falsetto melodies, is sure to grab the attention of many new Bonaventure fans. Check out the video below.

October 25th, 2012 Anthony Galasso A Rocket To The Moon recently released their brand new music video for “Whole Lotta You” off their latest EP, That Old Feeling. Well, now they’ve released some behind-the-scenes footage from the video.
The song will also be released on the band’s upcoming album, Wild & Free, which will be released on January 29 via Fueled By Ramen.

The song is a stripped down acoustic ballad that stays true to Bonaventure’s sound.
After successfully releasing their debut EP Come Hell or High Water this past summer, the band has found themselves writing more music as well as playing on tour with bands like A Rocket To The Moon and Austin Gibbs.

October 21st, 2012 Dan Bogosian A Rocket To The Moon have released an acoustic version of “Whole Lotta You” off their latest release, That Old Feeling.
If you’re a fan of the band, you’re probably thinking “but that song was already based around an acoustic guitar,” and you’d be right (decide for yourself here). However, the vocal delivery and removal of the drums make this a much more stripped down performance.

The video compliments this feel-good song perfectly with parties, fireworks, American flags and Native American headdresses.

The video, featuring Jason Reeves, simply shows the group sitting under a willow tree in a park spilling their guts.
The song is available as a free download on Noisetrade along with their other live acoustic track, “Home”.

November 14th, 2011 Grant Trimboli Nashville rock duo Bonaventure have release their very first single, entitled “These Shoes.” The pairing of Andy Albert (ex. Holiday Parade) and Dan Smyers delivers a perfect soothing atmosphere of rock. The songs’ soaring vocals and gentle guitar melody set the tone.
