WATCH: Jack White – “I’m Shakin’”

Former White Stripes front man Jack White has had a strange year, making a video with Josh Homme, supposedly recording with Radiohead, and recently pissing off New York fans. He’s now released the music video for the latest single off his first solo album, Blunderbuss, called “I’m Shakin’”. The song is originally by Rudy Toombs, although he never made a music video for it. Shame on him.

In the video, Jack White has a guitar battle and flirts with himself. Hear the cover of the old blues song and watch the two Jacks go at it …

Jack White Upsets Fans With Short Setlist In New York City

Last night at Radio City Music Hall, Jack White played an incredibly shortened show. The average performance on his Blunderbuss tour is 20 songs long, but last night, his set was only 12 songs. Many fans hung out after the show, chanting “Fuck Jack White!” and attempting to return merchandise they purchased.

Several places are reporting that Jack White was calm and in a normal mood before the show. Something must have set him off, with Jack saying “Jesus Christ, is this an NPR Convention?” and supposedly having a disagreement with a shirtless man in the …

Jack White On The The Colbert Report

Jack White returned to The Colbert Report and the results are nothing short of spectacular.

Stephen Colbert and Jack White sat down for a awkwardly forced and hilarious interview in which Colbert asks the artist when they will be working together again. White’s simple response was a resounding no. In the name of comedy, the two poked fun at each other and Jack White performed his new single “Freedom At 21.” This song is off of his debut solo album, Blunderbuss, through Third Man Records.

Watch the interview and performance after the jump. If you all would enjoy reading …

REVIEW: Jack White – Blunderbuss

Artist: Jack White
Album: Blunderbuss
Label: Third Man Records
Genre: Indie Rock

There are times when I’m listening to Jack White my heart simply swoons. Goosebumps jump from my skin and butterflies jumble my stomach. At times, when the mood strikes, his music is better than spooning on the couch after a twelve dollar bottle of wine. With his scrabble board vocabulary and intellectual subject matter, his casual conversation sometimes feels more like a lecture from a college professor than a calming singer-songwriter.

However, like any good relationship, there are also times when I listen to Jack White that my …

Jack White Streams “Blunderbuss” A Week Ahead Of Release

In a valiant effort to turn people away from piracy, Jack White has unveiled a stream of his forthcoming solo album.

No matter how hard one hopes and prays, nearly every artist in the modern music landscape falls victim to leaks from time to time. Considering the album is meant to hit on 4/24, this leak is not too terrible, …

SINGLE REVIEW: Jack White – Love Interruption

Song: Love Interruption
Album: Blunderbuss
Label: Third Man Records

Simply put, Jack White has always managed to excel at being uncomplicated. “Love Interruption,” the latest Third Man Records single by White, released earlier today, is no exception to this rule.
