Slayer’s Jeff Hanneman Died From Alcohol Related Cirrhosis; Band Planning Celebration To Honor Memory

Slayer have revealed that the cause of death for founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman was alcohol related cirrhosis. Read statements from every group member as well as details for when they will be honoring his memory.

Hanneman passed away on May 2 at the age of 49.

Ever-growing music social networking site OurStage.com is continuing to unveil its latest products with the release of a new program that aims to help independent artists earn money when fans stream their music online.

OurStage Pro, which is described on the OS YouTube page as “the new economy for independent artists,” is a new program with a $2 signup fee. The band did not name themselves, but took to their commandeered webpage to explain that they really, and I mean REALLY, want to be heard by the aging rockers.
