LIVE ACOUSTIC: Jon Simmons (Balance and Composure) No Sleep Records Warehouse Session

Today No Sleep Records released a live acoustic set of Balance and Composure’s Jon Simmons playing three songs in the No Sleep Records warehouse. Featuring two untitled new songs and their song “Echo,” this acoustic session gives viewers a look into songs that may be on upcoming releases. Honestly that’s reason enough to watch, but if you need further convincing, the new songs sound awesome.

Koji has recently announced the upcoming release of his debut full length record, Crooked In My Mind.

With quite a few splits and EPs under his belt, he recorded his full length with Will Yip, who has worked with the likes of Blacklisted, Circa Survive, Daylight, and Title Fight in the past.

It looks like touring the United Kingdom had an affect on the guys in punk outfit Balance And Composure. During their tour of the UK the group banged out a stripped down cover of “Bigmouth Strikes Again”, one of The Smiths’ most enduring anthems culled from one of their greatest albums, The Queen Is Dead.

Fingers Crossed Stream Debut LP On Bandcamp

Houston, Texas punk quartet Fingers Crossed have uploaded a stream of their debut LP, Dedos Crusados, onto Bandcamp. The album is available for the low price of five dollars.

According to the band, the lyrics for this release center around lost communication and a strong internal struggle. Dedos Crusados is a huge step for Fingers Crossed and solidifies this collection as their most mature songs to date. Mixing and mastering for this independent release were handled by Stephen Egerton of Descendents fame.

Braid/Balance & Composure Announce Split EP

No Sleep Records will release a split EP from genre defining band Braid and up and comers Balance and Composure on February 26. Beginning today, fans can pre-order the EP on limited edition vinyl 7” and digitally here.

Braid will be selling their own variant, an exclusive dark maroon color via their merch store. Track listing and tour dates can be seen after the jump.

WATCH: Balance and Composure – “Rope”

The guys at Altar TV recently caught up with Doylestown, Pennsylvania rockers, Balance and Composure, to film an engaging performance of the band’s song, “Rope”, for their Live at the Show web series.

Altar TV released this episode as a Twitter exclusive earlier today. The episode features Balance and Composure vocalist, Jon Simmons discussing the meaning behind “Rope” and its origins.

“It’s about, for me, at least, it’s about not knowing your place in the world and why we’re here,” Simmons claims.

Balance And Composure Announce First Headlining Tour

Balance And Composure have been an opening act on some very impressive tours over the last few years, including recently opening on the Violent Waves Tour for Circa Survive. However, this time it’s B&C’s turn to play the headliner, announcing their first ever full US headlining tour kicking off in late January.

Balance and Composure have unleashed the music video for their track “Quake” and can be seen here on Under The Gun!

This song comes off of their effort, Separation, released through No Sleep Records. The band told Filter Magazine a little about the video and can be seen below.

Under The Gun is very excited to learn that Balance And Composure will be releasing their very first music video. The video will be for the band’s song “Quake” off their highly successful release Separation.

According to Loud Mouth Magazine, a DIY zine available on tour with the band, the video was directed by Dan Centrone (Daylight’s “Damp” video) in Bucks County, PA and is expected to premiere sometime this month.
