Tyler Osborne Picture this: Frodo Baggins gets fed up with everyone in The Shire, and then decides to slaughter all the women in the village, graphically. That’s what this brand new trailer from Twitch for this year’s Maniac promises you. For those who don’t know, Maniac is a remake of the 1980s slasher film of the same name where a deranged serial killer (Elijah Wood) scalps his victims. I don’t want to give a lot away to you, but if there is one slasher film that may benefit from a modern update, Maniac may be it.
