April 29th, 2013 James Shotwell Atlanta’s B.o.B is one of the few artists to successfully make a name in pop and hip hop that isn’t dependent on the other genre to be considered a success. If he wants to write a pop song, he does. If he wants to release a street banger, he does. November 5th, 2012 Grant Trimboli B.o.B gave Ustream and his loyal fan base a first listen of the track “Dynamite” (or “Dynomite”) online late last night. This is the only new material that has surfaced off of his upcoming mixtape.

October 4th, 2012 James Shotwell B.o.B. keeps the hype for his #FuckEmWeBall mixtape alive and well today with the unveiling of his official stream of “Arenas.” Featuring Chris Brown and T.I., the first leak off #FuckEmWeBall features the same soft-to-loud song structure featured on nearly every successful Bobby Ray single. This isn’t a complaint per se, I’d even go as far as to say that this single has big potential, but it’s impossible to listen without thinking that something about the overall track feels like familiar territory for the “Airplanes” rapper. Hailing from a series of singles Brown has dubbed R & B-Sides, “Get Down” pairs the young, angry emcee with pop chart favorite B.o.B.
