I’ll be the first to admit that the lead singles from Justice’s Audio, Video, Disco kind of sucked. After releasing the audio version just two days ago, Justice has unleashed the official video to their new single “Audio, Video, Disco.” The video depictes Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay combining leisure with professional activities.

Today, Warner Brothers began the site TheDarkKnightRises.com to hype the upcoming film. The site is completely black, but plays an ominous chant on a loop. I took that audio and opened it within Adobe Audition and took a look at the Spectral Frequency Display. I wasn’t surprised to find an image, or text rather, of #TheFireRises within the frequencies. If you love indie music in any way, shape, or form then you most likely know the name Jeff Mangum better than that of members of your extended family Mangum, the mastermind behind Neutral Milk Hotel, has been infamously silent on the music scene for many years, until now. According to sources, Mangum performed a secret show last night in Brooklyn for about 75 people and performed 10 NMH songs. Click here to audio of five songs from Mangum’s performance. No information has been released to say or even hint that this performance will lead to more shows or another album, but it’s something and that’s more than fans have had for awhile.
