Listen to Brightwell’s (ex-FTFD, Attack Attack!) Debut Single, “Separation”

Nowadays, bands have a habit of popping up out of nowhere, sometimes seemingly overnight. Brightwell is one such act. Despite their very recent formation (they literally haven’t been a band for a full month), the outfit has already began to cause a stir due to their impressive roster, which features both vocalist Nick Barham (ex-Attack Attack!) and drummer Arvin Sarathy (ex-For The Fallen Dreams).

Earlier this evening, the group released their debut single, “Separation,” in the form of a lyric video, which you can view after the break. A pleasant blend of heavy and catchy, this …

Phil Druyor Writes Lengthy And Honest Statement Regarding Nativ’s Current Issues

“I’ve written an album for the underdogs. Because I’ve always been one.”

Following some major line-up alterations and a new direction in sound, Ohio’s electronicore outfit formerly known as Attack Attack! quickly became Nativ. For the most part, fans were excited that they were technically continuing on while others lashed out about the decision and heckled the group with nonsense.

Now after only a few short months, the band have found themselves with some internal issues that are currently putting their activity in an indefinite state of stasis. Each year we read news of hiatus after hiatus regarding the …

I can see why the band decided to change their name before releasing new music, these new songs sound different from what Attack Attack! was known for. If you’re expecting to hear some old Attack Attack! then you will be sorely disappointed. With that being said though, these …

REVIEW: Beartooth – Sick EP

Artist: Beartooth
Album: Sick EP
Genre: Metalcore

For all the ups and downs, criticism, and for lack of a better term, “scene bullshit,” Ohio metalcore outfit Attack Attack! have faced over the years, their ever-rotating lineup has produced some of the most notable names in the current heavy music game. First came Austin Carlile, whose post-AA life has been covered endless with Of Mice & Men, and now Caleb Shomo returns with a new band and renewed passion for music that grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go. Beartooth may have only been active since late 2012, …

Attack! Attack! (UK) Announce Break Up Plans

When I woke to a text alert telling me Attack Attack had broken up, I legitimately lept from bed in my Boston home and scrambled to my laptop. Ohio’s Attack Attack! have been one of our most covered bands, and to hear that they quietly announced their break up in the dead of the night seemed strange. Then I logged on to realize the company behind the aforementioned text alert didn’t understand how important the exclamation point is in the band’s name and that, my friends, is how I learned the UK based Attack! Attack! were going to be parting …
