STREAM: Scars Of Tomorrow – “Questions”

Scars Of Tomorrow are a five piece metal outfit hailing from Portland, Oregon. They’ve been working on new music, and plan on releasing their yet to be named album through Artery Recordings later this year. Earlier today they premiered a brand new single which will be featured on that album. The song is titled “Questions,” and you can give it a listen by taking a look below the break.

“Questions” is one of the best songs the band has released to date. The unclean vocals are on point, and they even sneak a guitar solo in near the end of …

Capture the Crown

Artery Recordings Welcomes Capture The Crown

Earlier in the day, Artery Recordings welcomed the Australian metalcore band Capture The Crown to its already impressive roster. Peek below the jump to view the outfit’s official video announcement.

Formed in 2010, the four-piece first started turning heads about two years ago thanks to their viral single “You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife.” Shortly after the tune tracked over five million views on YouTube , the band flew to Florida to record their debut LP, ‘Til Death, at Cameron Mizell’s Chango Studios; it was released later that year via Sumerian Records.

I’ll be honest, …

Slaves Confirm Release Date For Debut Album

Ever since Jonny Craig announced his and Alex Lyman’s (Hearts & Hands) new band, Slaves, fans have been anxiously waiting to hear new music from the group. They’ve released a couple of teasers since they got together, and now we have some details for the album itself.

The band’s new album is titled Through Art We Are All Equals, and it will be released June 24 via Artery Recordings. As most probably know by now, their debut single “The Fire Down Below” will premiere April 22.…

Fronzilla (Chris Fronzak Of Attila) Premieres Debut Rap Single “Turn It Up”

According to his Facebook page, Fronzilla, more commonly known as Chris Fronzak, the vocalist for Attila, is “your new favorite rapper.” Unfortunately, after listening to the budding emcee’s debut single, “Turn It Up,” my ears have opted to respectfully disagree with the above claim. The two-minute track is weighed down by countless clichés, creating a listening experience that is far more awkward than enjoyable, and in terms of lyrical richness, I’ve been more captivated by my 3-year-old niece’s spit-up.

Still, to each his own, and if you want to see what Fronzak’s newest undertaking is all about, you …

Alesana Stream ‘The Decade’ EP In Full

Alesana have hit a milestone in their career. They’ve been together for ten years, and it doesn’t look like they are stopping any time soon.

Tomorrow they will be releasing The Decade EP, which is something they put together for fans to hold them over until their next full-length comes out. While this EP is not a part of the band’s concept album trilogy, it’s still a story: a story of the band. The EP contains some of the heaviest and most melodic tracks to date, which no one is complaining about.

The Decade EP is now available to stream …

Adestria Announce New Album & Stream New Single

It’s been a while since the last time we wrote about Adestria. They released one of my favorite albums in 2012, titled Chapters. They’ve been on and off the road since then, and are even heading out on tour with Upon This Dawning next month. Fans knew the band was planning on releasing a new album in the near future, and now they’ve revealed some details for it. They will drop their sophomore studio album, titled Gilded Hearts, via Artery Recordings on April 29. To make the announcement even sweeter, the band also premiered the debut track. …

Stream Alesana’s New Single, “Double Or Nothing”

There is one band that I have always been a fan of, and that’s Alesana. Every time I think they can’t top their previous releases they prove me wrong. It seems that they are on the path to doing so once again with the release of their upcoming The Decade EP. They unleashed the first single from it not too long ago, and now they’ve revealed the second single just a week before the EP’s street date. The new single is titled “Double Or Nothing,” and you can stream it below.

The band partnered up with Substream to premiere …

Upon This Dawning 2013

Listen To Upon This Dawning’s New Single, “Anima”

I never thought I’d be saying this, but Upon This Dawning are on the path to releasing one of the best albums of 2014. As much as I enjoyed their debut album, they had plenty of critics. If their newest single is any indication of what we can expect from their full length, then I think those critics, as well as fans, will be pleasantly surprised. The band released their second single earlier today, titled “Anima.” I highly recommend checking it out, and you can do so below the jump.

The new song is available for purchase via iTunes. …

Myka, Relocate

Myka, Relocate Unleash Visuals For “Something To Dream About”

Last year, Houston-based rockers Myka, Relocate dropped their debut full length album, Lies To Light The Way, via Artery Recordings. They had a number of great singles off the album, and one of those songs is “Something To Dream About.” The band had been teasing that they would reveal the music video for that song, and as of today they made good on that promise. The official music video for “Something To Dream About” is now available, and you can check it out below the jump.

The video features the band performing the song in a darkened room with …

REVIEW: Sirens And Sailors – ‘Skeletons’

Artist: Sirens And Sailors
Album: Skeletons
Genre: Metalcore
Label: Artery Recordings / Razor & Tie

Sirens And Sailors have been one of my favorite unsigned metalcore acts for a long time, and before I knew it they were swooped up by a major record label and on the path to releasing their sophomore full length album. What really made me love their music was their EP, Wasteland. I had liked them before this, but that EP really made me appreciate their musicianship. With that in mind, I’ve had high expectations for their new album, Skeletons.

Skeletons opens up …
