Sirens And Sailors

Sirens And Sailors Release Cover Of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”

As we’ve mentioned before, everyone seems to be getting in the holiday spirit this year. We’ve already heard a good number of Christmas covers by now, but not too many of them have been true metalcore covers. Sirens And Sailors are changing that up a bit though, and have released a cover of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” with their own spin on it. The song is available to listen to below.

The band has a few tour dates coming up with Vanna later this month. If you would like to see if they are hitting your city …

iwrestledabearonce Join Artery Recordings, Tease New Album

The world has been a lot quieter than usual this year due to the lack of new material released by the chaotic and often very funny iwrestledabearonce. The group did not release any new material this year, and truth be told they also managed to stay largely out of the spotlight. That is no longer the case, however, as the group behind 2013′s Late For Nothing have finally revealed their plans for the future.

Breaking their silence over Facebook with a short update for fans, iwrestledabearonce have revealed that they are already hard at work on the next studio …

Attila Announce New Album ‘Guilty Pleasure’

Oh, Attila. There’s something special about this band. Like most of the metalcore world, I was mostly shocked and appalled at the band’s most recent record, About That Life. However, that didn’t stop me from telling just about everyone I knew to watch the band’s video for the title track, out of pure comedic value. Considering that the group now operates largely off of shock value, I’d say that they’re doing something right.

Attila has just announced the follow-up to About That Life. It’s called Guilty Pleasure, and the first song is called “Pizza, Sex, …

Upon This Dawning 2013

MUSIC VIDEO: Upon This Dawning – “Embrace The Evil”

Earlier this year, with the help of their new label Artery Recordings, Upon This Dawning unleashed their killer sophomore studio album, We Are All Sinners. With a new frontman leading the way, the band proved that they were fully capable of dramatically improving their sound in a short period of time. A prime example of that change is their single “Embrace The Evil,” so it’s only fitting that they dropped a music video for it yesterday. The video features the band performing in an empty warehouse, and includes a handful of actresses to round out the cast. You can …

Chelsea Grin

MUSIC VIDEO: Chelsea Grin – “Playing With Fire”

Coming off the heels of their time spent on the Vans Warped Tour and the release of their third studio album, Ashes To Ashes, Chelsea Grin have shared a rather dark music video for their single, “Playing With Fire.”

Do you like fire? Chelsea Grin sure do. According to them, the best way to complement lyrics like “we will light ourselves a flame” and “let’s burn this bastard to the ground” is to use some intense camera cuts that juggle between performance footage and a fire-breathing poi dancer. You can view the video below the jump to see it for …

Artery Recordings Welcomes For The Win

Artery Recordings has announced the signing of California pop-core outfit For The Win. The label will re-release the band’s most recent album, More Than You Know, this fall.

I had never heard of For The Win before a press release announcing their addition to Artery hit my inbox. Before I wrote this story I took fifteen minutes to experience More Than You Know and immediately two things become alarmingly clear: 1. Gang vocals will never die. 2. This band probably promotes itself as a cross between A Day To Remember and The Wonder Years. I’m not saying that is …
