Lineup For New England Metal & Hardcore Festival XV Announced

You know Spring is fast approaching when details begin to roll out for New England Metal & Hardcore festival.

For the 2013 installment, the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival will once again overthrow the historic venue, The Palladium, in Worcester, Massachusetts, this year marking the 15-year anniversary of the iconic weekend-long gathering! The festivities will commence with a pre-party on April 18, 2013 and the three official days of the fest following on the 19, 20, and 21.

Rob Caggiano Leaves Anthrax

A couple of days ago Rob Caggiano, the lead guitarist of Anthrax, announced that he will be parting ways with the band to pursue other endeavors. You can read a full statement from him and another statement from the rest of the band regarding the situation by checking below the jump.

The band has indicated that they still intend on participating in the upcoming Metal Alliance tour. The tour starts in March. Be sure to head over to their Facebook page to see if they will be hitting your city!

Kevin Lyman Confirms Mayhem Fest Cruise

Kevin Lyman has confirmed to Metal Insider that the Mayhem Fest Cruise is happening. This fest will take place from December 7 through the 11.

Bands already announced include Lamb of God, Anthrax, Jonathan Davis, Machine Head and Suicide Silence, and various late additions from Metal Blade, Sumerian, Roadrunner and Century Media. UTG will update you with ticket information in the weeks to come.

Boise Radio Station Leaks Mayhem Festival Lineup

A radio station in Boise, Idaho has won the hearts of metalheads everywhere by leaking the majority of the Mayhem Festival 2012 lineup.

The station, 100.3 The X, announced the initial lineup for the traveling Summer festival earlier today via their official Facebook. The lineup, as posted by the station, is as follows:

The Devil Wears Prada
Asking Alexandria
Whitechapel
High On Fire
