Riot Fest Lineups Coming Next Week, Chicago Venue Announced

With all the summer festival announcements as of late, there has been a clear absence of updates from the Riot Fest team. The 2014 schedule came out during the second week of May last year, but the crew behind the multi-city event needed a little more time before revealing the 2015 installment, which will again visit the cities of Chicago, Denver, and Toronto.

The British indie rockers of Bloc Party have officially ended their two-year hiatus and are presently working on what will be their fifth full-length studio album. According to Stereogum, frontman Kele Okereke let the cat out of the bag yesterday while speaking with the Australian radio station Triple J, even going so far as to tease a new track titled “Exes.”

Anti-Flag will release their tenth studio album, American Spring, this coming May through Spinefarm Records. It will act as a followup to 2012’s The General Strike.

Bjork Announces New Album ‘Vulnicura’

Bjork has announced her newest album, titled Vulnicura. The album is said to be released sometime in March.

The followup to 2011’s Biophilia, Vulnicura will consist of nine tracks, six of which were co-produced with Arca (Kayne West, FKA Twigs). The Haxan Cloak also lent a production hand to the album, with Bjork co-producing herself on all the tracks.

Hopefully Bjork will also embark on a new tour for the album. She is set to appear at this year’s Governors Ball, which will hopefully be a part of a new string of performances.
