Faith No More, Soundgarden and Slipknot to Headline Soundwave 2015

Australia’s heavy music festival monolith, Soundwave, has made a mammoth lineup announcement for 2015 with Faith No More, Soundgarden, Slipknot, Incubus, Marilyn Manson and several other renowned acts leading arguably the festival’s strongest billing yet.

Expanding to a two-day format for the first time in 2015, Soundwave will take place in four cities across two weekends, with every act playing in each city on an alternating schedule that organizers have simply labelled ‘Day One’ and ‘Day Two.’

On My Honor Are Calling It Quits

This morning, Knoxville Tennessee’s On My Honor officially announced their retirement on their Facebook page. After 8 years, the group has decided to dissolve the band, citing they felt “an overwhelming feeling” to move on.

Along with the announcement, the band provided contact information for bassist Jake Jones and drummer Tobias Campbell, both of whom will be seeking to join new projects.

The guys announced plans for a final show, in their hometown of Knoxville, set to take place in early 2015, and will release more information about the show when it becomes available. You can view the entire statement …

Earlier this evening, Andrew Tkaczyk, drummer of the L.A. hardcore act The Ghost Inside, announced via Twitter that the group is heading to Orlando, Florida to begin tracking what will be their fourth full-length album. You can view said tweet for yourself by following the jump.
