Though the weather outside is frightful, the Lone Star State’s premier alternative music festival, South By So What!?, continues to bolster its increasingly awesome lineup.

Earlier this morning it was announced that Circa Survive, La Dispute, and a slew of other stellar acts will be trekking to Grand Prairie, Texas this coming spring to take in part in the annual event, which will feature over 100 bands in total. Coldplay Announce Seventh Full-Length Album, ‘A Head Full of Dreams’

It has been only seven months since we were graced with Coldplay‘s sixth studio album, Ghost Stories, and already, our favorite band of Brits are back in the studio working on a follow-up.

Refused Confirm Reunion Festival Shows in Europe and Canada

All the rumblings about a Refused reunion have fans feeling nostalgic, despite the fact that the possibility of a new record is largely unconfirmed.

Still, fans in Europe and Canada have some exciting opportunities to look forward to regarding the Swedish punk band, as a string of festival dates for 2015 have recently been announced including the Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK.

Australia’s heavy music festival monolith, Soundwave, has made a mammoth lineup announcement for 2015 with Faith No More, Soundgarden, Slipknot, Incubus, Marilyn Manson and several other renowned acts leading arguably the festival’s strongest billing yet.

Expanding to a two-day format for the first time in 2015, Soundwave will take place in four cities across two weekends, with every act playing in each city on an alternating schedule that organizers have simply labelled ‘Day One’ and ‘Day Two.’

On My Honor Are Calling It Quits

This morning, Knoxville Tennessee’s On My Honor officially announced their retirement on their Facebook page. After 8 years, the group has decided to dissolve the band, citing they felt “an overwhelming feeling” to move on.

Along with the announcement, the band provided contact information for bassist Jake Jones and drummer Tobias Campbell, both of whom will be seeking to join new projects.
