James Shotwell Pop punk act Handguns have parted ways with guitarist Jake Langley. Handguns will be continuing without him, though no replacement has been announced, and Langley will be seeking to join or start a new project in the immediate future. September 24th, 2012 Grant Trimboli Pop punks Handguns have partnered up with our good friends at PropertyOfZack to stream their entire debut album, Angst.

August 20th, 2012 Michael Meeze Harrisburg, Pennsylvania upstart pop-punk quartet, Handguns, have released a new song from their forthcoming debut album. The new album will be coming out on September 25 on CD/LP/Digital, and will consist of 12 brand new tracks. Angst was recorded at Webster Lake Studios by Chris Curran. Debut records are always fun to hear because while EPs are good indicators into what a band is like, full-lengths are really what people look at when determining the longevity and staying power of a new group.

The band recently went on twitter and was looking around for guest vocalists, and it appears that someone was interested in helping out. While they didn’t exactly confirm in the studio update who it is, from the vocals and the way they were talking it appears to be that the singer is Mark Hoppus of Blink 182.
