Anchor & Braille have released the music video for the song “Goes Without Saying”, which is taken off their recently released full length album The Quiet Life. This is one of my favorite tracks on the entire album, so if you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet then I definitely recommend giving it a whirl!

While I generally have a tendency to always listen to metal bands, sometimes I find it’s necessary to relax to something just a little bit more mellow. That’s when I turn to bands like Anchor & Braille. The band is a side project of Anberlin’s Stephen Christian. The Quiet Life is the band’s sophomore effort, following their 2009 debut release titled Felt. Which, by the way, I recommend that you check out if you haven’t already.

Half of new Anchor & Braille record completed

The new record from Anchor & Braille, the side-project of Anberlin’s lead singer, Stephen Christian, is reportedly “half-done,” according to a tweet sent by Christian:

working w/ dave elkins was amazing, can safely say that 1/2 the A&B record is complete now. whole new respect for the guy on several levels.

As stated in the tweet, Christian has been working on the record with Dave Elkins, vocalist for Mae. There is no confirmed release date for the new record at this point.
