Laura Jane Grace Discusses Her First Year As A Woman

Against Me!‘s Laura Jane Grace was recently featured in an issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine discussing her first year as a woman. Laura was known originally as Tom Gabel until last year.

Please check out a small piece of the article right here and click here for the entire read.

In high school, Tommy dated girls. “I was always attracted to women. It was never a sexuality issue. I just knew that if I could make a wish to change into a woman myself, I would have made it 100 times every day. It became so stressful that I’d reach

The Bronx To Fill In For Against Me!, Provide Support Alongside Polar Bear Club For Bad Religion’s Headlining Tour

We were bummed to learn on Monday that Against Me! needed to drop off their scheduled tour with Bad Religion and Polar Bear Club. It seems that the band couldn’t find a steady replacement drummer for their upcoming live gigs on top of needing to focus on finishing up their album.

But the show will be going on, with punk rock outfit The Bronx filling in for the departing band. The Los Angeles-based band confirmed on Facebook today that they will be providing support alongside Polar Bear Club for Bad Religion, who are touring behind their sixteenth full length …

Hesitation Wounds

STREAM: Hesitation Wounds (Touche Amore/ex-Against Me!/Hope Conspiracy) – “A. Smith (Death of a Teenager)”

We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to one of the latest hardcore side-projects to grace the scene: Hesitation Wounds. The band consists of Jeremy Bolm from Touche Amore, Jay Weinberg (former member of Against Me!), Neeraj Kane of The Hope Conspiracy, and Stephen LaCour (former member of Trap Them). The band released “A. Smith (Death of a Teenager)”, their lead single off of their upcoming self-titled 7″ EP yesterday, and the song absolutely kills.

The project is due for release in April and will be pushed out by Bolm’s own Secret Voice label, which is …

Bad Religion Announces Spring Tour With Against Me! And Polar Bear Club

Bad Religion recently were announced to be on the oddly titled Punk Rock Bowling lineup, but have now added several more tour dates. The entire tour also features Against Me!, hitting with a hard one-two punch of punk. Personally, Bad Religion is the right mix of pop/punk and heavy punk for me: it’s not so hard as to be inaccesable, but it isn’t some of the pure pop with distortion that the late 90s would bring and torture me with. But I digress.

Post-hardcore / punk group Polar Bear Club will also be touring. The full tour dates …
