Brit pomp rockers Muse premiered the music video for “Supremacy”, the fourth single from their most recent album The 2nd Law.

A pivot away from Muse’s previous material, the focus on subtle sonic textures in “Supremacy” marks a new, more nuanced direction for the band.

The song is the audio equivalent of the following “What If?” scenario; in which Black Holes And Revelations closer “Knights of Cydonia” makes sweet, passionate love to Adele’s theme for Skyfall only to sneak out of the bedroom in the morning, leaving the soulful track from the British songstress shaken, not stirred. …

Written with Paul Epworth, Adele’s signature elegance breathes larger-than-life qualities into this one, and I think it fits nicely alongside the other legendary themes in the Bond cannon. Preview of Adele’s “Skyfall” theme released

The preview, clocking in at just under two minutes, recalls the older themes from the Sean Connery days of James Bond, and with everything that’s happening, people might just need a little old fashioned.

Adele to Sing Theme Song in Newest James Bond Movie

According to reports from TheFilmStage, it’s certain that British pop-star Adele will be the voice of the theme for the newest James Bond movie Skyfall. She apparently has been in Abby Road Studios with the composer for the film Thomas Newman recording a single song.

VIDEOS: Set it Off Cover “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “Someone Like You”

Set it Off have begun their 6 Days of Christmas series with a fun recording of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” This zany group has a good time and does their best to get us in the holiday spirit.

In addition to this Christmas jingle, lead vocalist Cody Carson has recorded a cover of Adele’s mega-hit “Someone Like You.” I’ve heard more renditions of this song than any other this year, and while this isn’t the best I’ve heard, it merits a listen. Next, Cody plans on recording a cover of Yellowcard’s ”Only One.”

Adele, My Chemical Romance For Bob Dylan Cover Album

Adele and My Chemical Romance are among the artists set to record new versions of Bob Dylan songs for an upcoming album. The four-CD Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International is due to go on sale on January 24 with all proceeds going to the human rights organization.

The album will feature 80 artists contributing cover versions of songs from Dylan’s extensive back catalogue, with other names set to appear including Sting, Ke$ha, Elvis Costello, and, er, Miley Cyrus. The great man himself will appear only on title track “Chimes of Freedom,” …
