Watch Have Mercy’s Brian Swindle Perform “Two Years” Acoustic

Have Mercy recently released their fantastic new record A Place of Our Own via Hopeless Records, and have been releasing live acoustic versions of some fan favorite tracks. We’re already seen “Pawn Takes Rook,” and now frontman Brian Swindle is back with an acoustic rendition of “Two Years.”

“Two Years” is an early favorite of mine, and this acoustic version adds a new vibe that’s not present on the record. The lead guitar riffs that litter the verses are traded for a more relaxed strumming pattern, and Swindle’s troubled voice adds a layer of urgency.

Side Saddle recently released their debut, The Astorian, and have spent considerable time promoting the excellent effort.

Recently, Nothing But Hope And Passion debuted the band’s first music video for their song, “When It’s All Done.”

REVIEW: Brent Walsh – ’7′

Artist: Brent Walsh
Album: 7
Genre: Indie, Pop, Experimental
Label: Equal Vision Records

Over the past few years, I The Mighty’s lead vocalist and guitarist, Brent Walsh, has spent considerable time hashing out some tracks that just didn’t seem to fit into what is now I The Mighty.

Since their signing to Equal Vision Records in 2011, we’ve seen a considerable shift in I The Mighty’s sound, especially considering the band was originally operating as an acoustic duo comprised of Walsh and current guitarist Ian Pedigo. Even with the introduction of bassist Chris Hinkley and drummer Blake Dahlinger, …

Good Morning, Gorgeous

Listen To Good Morning, Gorgeous’ Beautiful New Song, “Cynthia”

As you probably know by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. While it seems most women beat this cancer nowadays, it’s easy to forget that there are still many women who succumb to it.

For one band in particular, this fact is painfully real. The guitarist/vocalist for Good Morning, Gorgeous, John Michael Perez, lost his mother to breast cancer at the end of August. In the wake of her passing he wrote a song for her which includes an audio clip of their very last conversation. If you’re ready for some tears, you can listen to it below …

Dayseeker To Release Deluxe Reissue Of ‘What It Means To Be Defeated’

Last year the post hardcore outfit Dayseeker released their debut full-length effort, What It Means To Be Defeated. Since then, the band has kept themselves busy with touring. Apparently that’s not all they’ve been up to though, which was made clear by their exciting announcement.
