Adrian Garza One of the things that made the Vans Warped Tour of 2012 so memorable was the inclusion of the Acoustic Basement stage. The haven of shade and stripped-down sets makes its return this year, and with that comes in a slew of artists who are either branching out in their respective side projects or dedicated solo acts. The artists have been announced earlier tonight through the punk rock festival’s social networks.

December 18th, 2012 Dan Bogosian Way back in March, we found out that Warped Tour had a new acoustic stage called The Acoustic Basement. Now, the idea is going on tour separately, with Geoff Rickly (ex-vocalist for Thursday), Vinnie Caruana (singer for I am the Avalanche, Peace’d Out, and The Movielife), A Loss For Words, Koji, and Brian Marquis all playing.

July 6th, 2012 Tyler Osborne Chicago, IL solo act Into It. Over It. (Evan Weiss) recently sat down with Punks In Vegas and played two songs acoustically. These stripped down versions of “Embracing Facts” and “Connecticut Steps” are absolutely GORGEOUS, but then again, he always sounds this fantastic. These two songs come off of Evan’s 2011 full length Proper, which was easily one of the best albums of 2011.
