ALBUM STREAM: Captain We’re Sinking – ‘The Future Is Cancelled’

AbsolutePunk.net is streaming the newest album by punk rockers, Captain We’re Sinking. The album, The Future Is Cancelled, will be released on May 14 on Run For Cover Records.

Captain We’re Sinking will be on tour with The Menzingers, Fake Problems, and Restorations for much of May and June.

I Can See Mountains

MUSIC VIDEO: I Can See Mountains – “Glory”

Our friends at AbsolutePunk are streaming a new music video for the song, “Glory, ” by one of UTG’s favorite up and coming punk bands, I Can See Mountains. Hailing from Buffalo, New York, I Can See Mountains’ new album Life On a Houseboat comes out on July 2 via Panic Records.

Everyone at the UTG offices is really excited to hear I Can See Mountains’ new album, but we’re more interested to see where Life On a Houseboat will take them as a band.

Our friends over at AbsolutePunk are currently streaming the Spacebrother remix of indie-pop group Hunter Hunted’s song, “Keep Together.” The remix is more about ambience than the lyrical qualities of the song, but it’s a fun track that you should definitely check out.

Hunter Hunted is currently making waves all around the indie scene, and has been featured on the Conan O’Brien, The Vampire Diaries, and more.

Post-hardcore band Octaves are set to have their first album on their new label Bridge Nine Records, Which Way The Wind Blows, this month on April 16. Earlier this month, several rock artists Tweeted links to http://www.heatthing.com/, including Vinnie Caruana, Kevin Devine, and eventually John Nolan, Thrice, and Manchester Orchestra. The website has been updating videos at its page on a regular basis between midnight and one AM Eastern time, leading fans to speculate on what the page was actually for.
