Schizoid pop is one way of putting it. Vessel is a baptism of fire if, like me, you weren’t heretofore familiar with twenty | one | pilots, but it’s a gloriously rewarding one. Mangling genres in this manner can go one of two ways – it can all become a cacophonous mess that makes you want to rip your headphones into shreds, or it can become an eclectic, eccentric marriage of invention and ingenuity. MUSIC VIDEO: twenty | one | pilots – “Guns For Hands”

Ohio’s twenty | one | pilots have released their official music video for the latest single, “Guns For Hands.” The track is the second single to surface off the group’s label debut Vessel, which coincidentally arrived in stores today following weeks of rave reviews and promotion.

Unlike the video for “Holding Onto You,” the visuals in “Guns For Hands” are extremely simplistic. twenty | one | pilots appear on a soundstage, perform a short skit, then settle into their positions and perform the track as if a packed house were watching. STREAM: Twenty One Pilots – Guns For Hands (New Studio Version)

Fueled By Ramen’s newest family members, Twenty One Pilots have been in the studio for the past month and a half recording for an upcoming album release on the label. They re-recorded their song “Guns For Hands” while in the studio, along with old favorites and new tunes.

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas attended another Twenty One Pilots show this past weekend. She captured some photos from TOP’s show at Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH on May 27th.

After attending the Twenty One Pilots show in Pittsburgh, I had to attend the Cleveland show at Grog Shop (I was planning on attending the Cleveland date even before going to the Pittsburgh show). UTG INTERVIEW: Twenty One Pilots

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas had the chance to sit down with Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots for an interview. For the past month, Twenty One Pilots have been in LA recording for their new album to release on Fueled By Ramen later this year. The band returned to their home state of Ohio to play a weekend of shows. Their first stop was in Pittsburgh, PA for their first Pittsburgh headlining show at Stage AE on May 25th.
