WATCH: The Descendents Full Performance At Fun Fun Fun Fest 2010

With the Fun Fun Fun Fest happening this upcoming week, The Descendents performance from the 2010 fest has finally been released. The hardcore punk group are not currently touring, nor working on a new album; however, they are working on a documentary titled Filmage that should cover the band’s history. Ever since Frank Navetta died, I think that might be the right course of action (and that hurts to say, because it means I won’t get to be in a mosh pit listening to The Descendents.)

Deftones

Deftones Announce New Album, US Tour

Alternative Rock icons, Deftones, have announced that they will be releasing their seventh studio album, Koi No Yokan, on November 13. The album was produced by long-time rock producer, Nick Raskulinecz, who has worked with the likes of Rush and Foo Fighters. Koi No Yokan will be Deftones’ follow-up to 2010′s Diamond Eyes. LIVE STREAM: Paramore – “Monster”

Yesterday, alternative rock juggernauts, Paramore, played their first show in a while in Pomona, California at the famed Fox Theater. A fan equipped with a camera caught the outfit performing their hit, “Monster”. The track was Paramore’s contribution to the Transformers: Dark of the Moon OST soundtrack. Jimmy Eat World To Begin Recording New Album

Mesa, Arizona alternative rock institution, Jimmy Eat World, will begin recording their new album next month. This is according to JEW drummer, Zach Lind, who  responded to a fan’s Twitter question concerning whether or not the “Sweetness” group would be working on a new album or a greatest hits album in the near future.

Westfield, MA’s Arrows Over Athens are promoting their forthcoming Sophomore release by offering fans the chance to download their last release, a seven-song EP entitled As These Roots Grow, for free through their Bandcamp page.The group’s blend of contemporary mix pop rock with just enough punk to feel rebellious is sure to add a little spice to what we’re going to assume is an otherwise uneventful Sunday.
