Blaqk Audio Post Album Teaser

Electro-dance duo, Blaqk Audio, will be releasing their sophomore album, Bright Black Heaven, on September 11 via Superball Music. Bright Black Heaven will be Blaqk Audio’s long-awaited follow-up to their 2007 debut, Sex Cells. The duo recently dropped an album teaser/preview video on us, so give it a listen after the jump.

Cartel to Begin Recording New Album

Pop-rockers, Cartel, are entering the studio on August 20 to begin recording their new album. The forthcoming album will be the Georgia quartet’s fourth, and first full-length since 2009′s Cycles. Last year Cartel released the quick-hitting, pop-gem , In Stereo EP.

Jimmy Eat World To Begin Recording New Album

Mesa, Arizona alternative rock institution, Jimmy Eat World, will begin recording their new album next month. This is according to JEW drummer, Zach Lind, who  responded to a fan’s Twitter question concerning whether or not the “Sweetness” group would be working on a new album or a greatest hits album in the near future.

The forthcoming album by the quartet will be their eighth and will  follow-up 2010′s Invented.

MUSIC VIDEO: Matchbox Twenty – “She’s So Mean”

Alternative Rock outfit, and former radio kings, Matchbox Twenty, have released their music video for their  new single, ”She’s So Mean”; their first new song in almost five years. The track comes off of Matchbox Twenty’s forthcoming fourth record, North, which is due out on September 4 via Atlantic Records. You can check out the music video for “She’s So Mean” after the jump.
