CONFIRMED: The Postal Service Are Reuniting in 2013

We have been talking about a Postal Service reunion since sometime in 2008, and finally we have confirmation the duo of Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) and producer Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel and Headset) are indeed getting back together in 2013.

Early this morning the official website for The Postal Service was updated with a static image that simply reads “The Postal Service 2013.” Further details are not available at this time and we have no clue when an official announcement will be made, but it seems safe to proclaim that the moment indie pop fans have been begging for is right around the corner.

We will be keeping a close eye on the band’s website for further updates. In the meantime, click below and enjoy a Postal Service classic.
