Baseball has been America’s past time for longer than I can recall without using Wikipedia. Some may argue the game’s popularity has wavered, or at least fallen in the shadow of other sports over the years, but one glance at a packed stadium any weekend and it’s clear people are as devoted as ever. Hollywood recognizes this, and has cashed in repeatedly over the years with films centered around Baseball (Field Of Dreams and Moneyball to name a few). Warner Bros is hoping to continue this winning streak with 42, the story of Jackie Robinson’s rise through the color barrier that plagued major league ball. The film opens in April 2013, and starting today you can view the first trailer by clicking past the jump. Enjoy!
