Embattled singer, Jonny Craig, has released an official statement regarding being dismissed from Dance Gavin Dance. Craig, who was also fired from the helm of Emarosa in 2011, is taking the departure from DGD as an opportunity to “focus on his solo project.” The singer plans to head out on a tour of the United Kingdom this October and after, a full United States tour.
Craig issued the following statement,
By now you have all heard that I’m no longer with DGD. I’ve decided its time for me to focus on my solo project moving forward. I appreciate my time in Dance Gavin Dance, but its time for me to move on and concentrate on my solo career. I wish the best for those dudes and the success of DGD. I have a solo tour in the UK in October and will be announcing a Full US Tour shortly. Stay tuned for the next chapter in Jonny Craig’s career.
